For those of you who know me, it won’t come as any surprise that I spend a lot of time reading…and a lot of that reading time is spent on photography. I read quite the assortment of new articles, books about photographers and technologies from early in the history of photography. I get an assortment of magazines, e-lists, e-books (may my Kindle live a long, long life!) and books from the local thrift stores.
Recently, an article from PhotoJoJo caught my attention, since I spotted it a few days after I’d been watching the fountain in the back and thinking…I see shapes and people in the movement. Weird, I know!
So, a couple days ago I set up an external flash and started shooting. In retrospect, I probably should have pulled my tripod out but I didn’t…I will for the next time and there will be a next time! It was enchanting to watch the shapes form…and even more interesting going through the images to see what I saw.
