Every year I make the trip to Mount Vernon during the tulip season. The festival is fun, the colors are amazing and there are so many amazing visitors from all over the world. The day this image series was created the fields were in full color, the sun was warm and there was a fresh breeze. It was a truly spectacular day. I was absolutely drawn to and fascinated by the play of the light through the whites. The color and shadow drew me in and I sat, kneeled and laid near this grouping for quite a while creating images that I feel capture the absolute elegance of the whites.
I put together this set of photos thinking that it will make a beautiful art piece. Thin Wrap Canvases ready to hang are available, unmounted prints are also available.
